ScrumUP Fairytale - Part 3

The Soup Stone – 3: An empty square…

The people all look tired and skinny. The houses are decaying and the farmland looks bare although there are crops growing on it. There seems to be a lot of poverty in this curious place.

It gets more and more crowded along the road as the soldier is approaching the city. Well, it is hard to speak of a city because it doesn't really look like a city. It looks more like a collection of tiny townships. Little groups of houses with empty stores and workshops. There had been something like a square but it is now empty and covered with sand and mud. There are people in the houses but the square is empty. In this city of little townships each township also only contains objects and people of matching color.

Our soldier has a long journey behind him and has even further to go. He's looking for a place to rest and for something to eat because he is very hungry and has nothing left to eat in his old soldiers bag. He doesn't feel comfortable though, to just walk up to someone to ask for something to eat and a place to stay. It's clear to him that the people in this city of little townships don't have much to spend. If he would try to speak to someone they would probably just walk on so our soldier just sits down in the middle of the square on something that used to be a little bench. He looks around, looks at the sun that's glowing in the sky and lets his mind wander for a while.

The Spirit of Iterative and Agile Development
Up till now we've only scratched the surface of what Agile is and what iterative and Agile methods have to offer. In this chapter are going to take a closer look at the Agile spirit. What does it mean to be Agile, what prerequisites are needed, what practices can help and how can I improve my way of working?
